Office Hours is an artist-run, knowledge sharing platform founded in New York City.
Office Hours circulates creative ideas and resources to reconfigure our culture industries into more equitable systems that can uplift, repair, and liberate. Since 2020, over 2500+ Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) artists, designers, students, and cultural workers have participated in our 40+ online events from 30+ territories and countries around the world, free of charge .
Public Service
Public Service is our new spin-off webzine launched in 2023. Inspired by Stuart Hall’s call to redirect media towards “the public service idea” to address diverse publics, Public Service retools the Internet as a space to foreground BIPOC artists, designers, and storytellers. Each episode features conversations highlighting strategies and practices to catalyze a radical change in the culture industries–and beyond. Watch our episodes here.
